Who is Sam Peralta?
Before he is a founder, Sam Peralta is a husband and a father. He is also a missionary, pastor, and ʻŌlelo Hawaiʻi educator with more than fifteen years of ministry across multiple nations — and he built Wayfinder so that no Kingdom builder has to choose between their calling and their family's sustainability.
Sam's spiritual journey began in the Catholic tradition and deepened through Calvary Chapel Bible College, with further training in apologetics shaped by Reasonable Faith and thinkers like William Lane Craig. Over fifteen-plus years, his work has spanned missions, pastoral leadership, apologetics, youth development, cultural education, and community building. Today, from Maui, he combines lessons from global missions, Hawaiian wayfinding (hoʻokele), Christian leadership, and digital strategy to help Kingdom builders navigate the modern mission field.
But the first thing to know about Sam isn't on a résumé. His life is ordered the way he believes every Kingdom builder's should be — family first, then mission. His wife and her business partner lead The Village Vessel, a women's community built to strengthen women, mothers, healing, growth, and legacy; Sam serves alongside them, in the role he prizes most — the husband standing behind the work, not in front of it. It's a living picture of the conviction underneath everything Wayfinder does: the first ministry is the home, and family is part of the mission, not a sacrifice to it.
